Domaine La Dournie brings together heritage and contemporary creation.
A place of inspiration and creation, this spring the estate welcomed Simon Augade. Born in 1987 in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Simon Augade is a nomadic artist who creates works in situ in dialogue with their architectural or landscape environment.
Bois d?Ente, the sculpture created at La Dournie, is grafted onto one of the estate's pine trees, decimated by a strong gale, thus prolonging the tree's life.
This summer, the estate...Domaine La Dournie brings together heritage and contemporary creation.

This summer, the estate will inaugurate an exhibition space in the restored former Orangerie, featuring a selection of works by Alexandre Hollan.
Born in Hungary in 1933, Alexandre Hollan is firmly rooted in the south of France, where he has lived and worked most of the year for over 40 years. The Musée Fabre in Montpellier, which received a major donation, devoted a solo exhibition to him in 2018.
The exhibition will present all aspects of his work, Trees, Silent Lives and Research on Light, giving pride of place to Trees, alongside those in the estate's historic park.
Strongly interiorized for Alexandre Hollan, or more expressive for Simon Augade, the tree, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, will be the link between works and generations, heritage and creation.
The exhibition is open from June 1 to July 20, Wednesday to Sunday, 4 pm to 8 pm. Free admission.
Opening on Saturday May 31 at 4 pm, in the presence of the artist, followed by a screening of Illés Sarkantyu's film, in the presence of the director.
visits to the exhibition and art workshops are available for groups upon reservation.
