Following the success of previous years, Denis Carri%E8re returns to exhibit his new works throughout the summer.
A painter of travel, a sketch artist of the moment, Carrière is an outdoor painter. For over 40 years, he has been sketching life here and elsewhere. His motivation: to capture and render on canvas—modestly, simply, and tirelessly—the colors of life.

In the pure tradition of traveling painters, he sets up his easel on location. He paints under the southern sun and in the wind. The landscapes of Occitania, market scenes, the Canal du Midi and its reflections, café terraces and old bistros, jazz and musicians... everything inspires him
