CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME-DE-NIZE ET LA FONTAINE DES YEUX

Notre Dame de Nize is a building with a strong identity, encompassing chapel, bell tower, hermitage, esplanade and the source of the "Fontaine des Yeux", reputed for centuries to heal or relieve eye ailments. The Romanesque chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary is one of the parish churches, and is the site of every Marian feast.

Situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, on the banks of a stream, this site nestling at the bottom of a valley is much appreciated for its calm, freshness and the charm of the surrounding nature. Open all year round, guided tours, wine tastings, shared meals and concerts are organized in fine weather. A reception-boutique offers local products and souvenirs.

The estate has been listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 2001, and was awarded the Vignobles et Découvertes label in 2024.
