CIRCUIT N°4 LE VIGNOBLE DE BERLOU– SITE VTT-FFC CAROUX EN HAUT-LANGUEDOC

Start and finish in front of the church, on Avenue de l?église in Berlou. The route offers a tranquil immersion in the heart of the local vineyards, alternating between quiet country roads and well-marked vineyard paths. As soon as you leave the village, a long rolling section allows you to pick up the pace; the terrain then becomes more varied, with stony stretches that require a little care, but remain accessible to most hikers.

Along the way, you'll enjoy views of the surrounding hillsides and the vineyards that shape the landscape. Educational panels along the way explain the history of the vineyard, its grape varieties and cultivation practices: take the time to read them for a better understanding of the terroir and the work of the winemakers. At the halfway point, the orientation table offers a pleasant vantage point and an ideal spot for a photo break or snack.

The return journey takes you gradually back to the village via a final gentle climb and then a rolling descent to the church. At the end of the walk, don't hesitate to visit the village of Berlou, stop off at a local wine cellar to taste the local wines, or extend your walk along other nearby trails.
