Departing from the Maison des Montagnes du Caroux in Mons-la-Trivalle, this hike will take you to discover the Gorges d'Héric and the Caroux plateau along the emblematic Sentier des Gardes. You'll pass exceptional sites such as the viewpoint indicator, a veritable belvedere overlooking the Jaur valley, the hamlet of Héric, typical of local architecture with its stone houses covered in lauzes, and the Col de Bardou.
